The momentum continues as the event enters its final leg with three big ticket AUTOGRAPHED items! Newly added to auction listings is an AUTOGRAPHED pair of Wrangler blue jeans that Jason Aldean previously wore! Another featured listing comes courtesy of Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles and Kristian Bush. The duo donated an AUTOGRAPHED Epiphone full size guitar, on which they have handwritten their band’s name, hand-drawn their logo of a heart with wings, as well as added their respective autographs onto the face of a brand new, never-before-played guitar!
Finally, Danielle Peck has donated one of her personal art creations, titled “Angel of Hope.” Danielle’s painting will be added to the auction listings later this week.
Jason, who hails from Macon, Georgia, donated eight other AUTOGRAPHED items for the current auction, which were featured in previous listings! Danielle also pulled an item from her closet and donated a tank top she wore; she signed it to the highest bidder at the close of that listing.
Additional artists who participated in this year’s event include Trace Adkins, Buddy Jewell, Miranda Lambert, Martina McBride, former Hootie and the Blowfish frontman Darius Rucker, Taylor Swift, Chris Young, AND famed “Nancy” cartoonist Guy Gilchrist, among many others!
The 13th Annual Country Angel’s Network Online Charity Auction is set to wrap later this month, with the grand total raised is projected to continue escalating toward to near $2,000 by auction’s end.
Proceeds from the 13th Annual CountryAngel’s Network Online Charity Auction will be donated to Hope Outreach Center. The organization’s mission is to do everything they can to ensure that children in the Oak Park community of Coffee County are safe, fed, educated, and live in adequate housing. Many of the families there live in extreme poverty (less than $6,000 a year), and 85% of the children live in a home without a father. Oak Park also has the highest rate of criminal activity in Coffee County, especially those in the nature of violent crimes and drug related offenses.
Hope Outreach Center provides these services free of charge: daily evening meals, laundry facilities, drug and alcohol prevention, parenting classes, drama and choir classes, after school programs, tutoring, GED classes, food distributions, clothing assistance, and more!
Hope Outreach Center is run by a group of volunteers with the majority of their funding coming from patron donations. They do not receive grants from the government. This past Christmas, Hope Outreach Center was blessed to be able to complete Christmas for 176 children in the area. Each of the children was paired with sponsors who bought them presents.
Country Angel’s Network events are held annually! For additional information on Country Angel’s Network auctions and updates on all past beneficiaries, please visit www.countryangelsnetwork.org.
About Hope Outreach Center:
Vernon and Angela Talkington founded the Hope Outreach Center in 1998. The couple was vacationing the previous year and had attended a revival celebration with friends. During the celebration, the couple noticed there were a group of children running around the area who didn’t seem to belong anywhere. They sought to help this community. Taking a leap of faith, the Talkingtons sold all of their belongings and relocated to Douglas, Georgia, where they still live today and run the Hope Outreach Center.
Hope Outreach Center is run by a group of dedicated volunteers. Hope Outreach Center has never received any government grants; therefore, donations are greatly appreciated! A constant supply of clothes, food, school supplies, among other necessities are available for those who come to the Hope Outreach Center.
