“Cowboy Talkin’” Makes FOUR Chart Debuts!!
Apr 14, 2008
Dallas, TX (April 14, 2008) – Texas-based actress turned recording artist and songwriter DEANNE MOORE made her debut on FOUR different charts for the chart period ending April 13! Just five weeks since its release, "Cowboy Talkin’" is already rounding out the top 40 on the Texas Music Chart at #40, leaping upward 19 spots from the previous week! Moving over to New Music Weekly‘s Country Main Chart, the single was first listed in the Country Up & Coming section, skipped right over the Chartbound section, and landed at #50! (She also clocks in at #25 on New Music Weekly’s Country Top 30 Indie Chart.) Finally, "Cowboy Talkin’" makes its debut entry within the top 100 on the Music Row Country Breakout Chart, checking in at #96 for the week (up from #108)!

Overjoyed with the news DeAnne received during her radio tour, she reflects, "I was in the car on the way to my next radio stop and tried to jump and down. Then, I called every person in my family and just screamed!"

Always an ambitious individual, DeAnne holds a Master’s degree in Counseling, has run a law firm, and enjoyed show business success as an actress. Acting took her to Los Angeles, where just as things were taking off, she decided to move back to Texas and put her career aspirations on hold to raise her children. Divine intervention was the key to leading her down her current musical journey. "To be honest, God just opened the doors and led me through them. I grew up on country music and have always love it deep in my soul. Singing is what I LOVE doing, so as the doors opened, I didn’t just walk through, I sprinted!"

Indeed, DeAnne proceeded with gusto in preparing for her musical journey and things fell into place quickly. She has enjoyed every step of the process: writing and choosing songs for Never Too Late, logging in studio hours, getting an official artist website and MySpace page created, and releasing a single. Ready to share her music, she assembled an enthusiastic and skilled team to help her keep the ball rolling. She continues to take every possible opportunity to share her music – including flying to Nashville for this year’s Country Radio Seminar, doing radio tours, and more. She is grateful and certainly ecstatic for the momentum "Cowboy Talkin’" is gaining right out of the chute! "I never felt like I was part of the game until now. With music, I'm actually in the game. I'm a player, not a spectator on the sidelines, and that is a great feeling!"
DEANNE MOORE Has Everyone "Talkin’"!!
Mar 24, 2008
Nashville, TN (March 26, 2008) – From her first-time attendance at the Country Radio Seminar (CRS) earlier this month to her current radio tour, DEANNE MOORE is attracting some very positive feedback! Straight off the plane in Nashville on Monday, March 3, DeAnne hit the ground running, with her CRS week agenda consisting of numerous interviews, the 4th Annual Music Row Meet and Greet and Awards event, and four live performances! She interviewed with New Music Weekly, Digital Rodeo, NIXA Country Radio, Inside Music Row – and many more. She also showcased at USA Sports Grill (March 3), 3rd and Lindsley (March 4), and Elevation (March 5 and 6). DeAnne had the fortune of having some of Nashville’s best musicians backing her during her two full band shows.

Suffice it to say that DeAnne thoroughly enjoyed EVERY minute of her CRS experience! She excitedly recalls, “CRS was incredible! Where else can you meet so many people in one week? I loved bouncing from interview to interview then going off to play a show each night. It was an adrenaline packed week, that is for sure, and I loved it!”

Here is some of the feedback she received throughout the week:

"There was lots of great, new talent at CRS this year. However, the artist that stood out in my mind was DeAnne Moore! This Texas beauty delivers a polished yet powerful Red Dirt sound! I look forward to watching her star rise!"
– Chris Conn (host, The Conman Radio Show)

"Moore's powerful voice, relaxed charm and energy level is sure to thrill listeners on both sides of Texas. Stewing together the ingredients of Country, pop with some roots rock elements Moore grabs your attention and keeps it!"
– Paul Loggins (publisher/editor, New Music Weekly magazine)

"When I first heard DeAnne Moore's album Never Too Late, I was blown away. After meeting her at this year’s CRS in Nashville, she’s definitely the ‘one to watch’ in 2008!"
– Larry Weir (co-editor, New Music Weekly magazine)

"DeAnne Moore has energy and passion about everything she does. She has an amazing talent that shines through, with a great sound and soothing voice. Her CD Never Too Late, featuring songs like "Cowboy Talkin'" and the title track has a great shot at breaking away and becoming a very successful album with a pleasing blend of ballads, and down to earth country feel. It was a pleasure to do a live interview with DeAnne and we look forward to more interviews and performances in the future."
– Kevin Nixa (www.NIXACountry.com)

Upon wrapping up a whirlwind week, DeAnne narrowly escaped the treacherous blizzard that hit Nashville and flew to Austin for a headlining show the next day, Saturday, March 8. Two days later, she was off to complete the first leg of her radio tour to promote her current single “Cowboy Talkin’.” The tour’s second leg begins today. As DeAnne puts it, “There’s no slowing down… yet!”
DEANNE MOORE Earns DisCovery Award With “Cowboy Talkin’”!
Feb 25, 2008

Nashville, TN (February 25, 2008) – The winner of Music Row magazine’s DisCovery Award has been named – and the award goes to… DEANNE MOORE!! The Texas-based singer/songwriter/actress’ debut single, "Cowboy Talkin’," earned her this award, as named so by esteemed country music journalist and historian, Robert K. Oermann. He wrote the following about "Cowboy Talkin’" in his DISClaimer column, issue date February 22, 2008:

"… there’s an upset in the DisCovery Award contest, with dinky-label starlet DeAnne Moore beating national TV star and major-label comer Julianne Hough." Oermann continues, stating that DeAnne’s single is, "Well written, produced with imagination and sung with fire. This rhythm-soaked number could become a big dance-floor favorite."

The award itself renders recognition. Even more impressive, though, is the fact that DeAnne – who released her debut album independently – edged ahead of a national television star and major record label up-and-comer to claim the award!! (DeAnne’s contender was Julianne Hough of Dancing With the Stars fame.)

Early feedback has been positive for "Cowboy Talkin’" and the continuing momentum has DeAnne fired up for next week’s Country Radio Seminar-39! DeAnne will be in Nashville all week interviewing with media and radio. She also has several showcases booked during the week. Interview time slots are available for Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday (March 4 – 7, 2008) and will be honored on a first come, first served basis. Please send your interview requests to Estella at starcountryangel@sbcglobal.net.

STAR COUNTRY MEDIA Secures Exclusive Agreement to Represent Texas Singer/Songwriter/Actress DEANNE MOORE!
Feb 11, 2008

Dallas, TX (February 11, 2008) – STAR COUNTRY MEDIA is proud to introduce rising star, DEANNE MOORE, to the country music community! DeAnne contacted the independent public relations and promotions firm in hopes of securing support for her debut album, Never Too Late. Estella Pan, STAR Country Media's Public Relations Director, raves about her new client: "From the first notes of hearing 'Cowboy Talkin', I was instantly sold! In addition to having recorded easily relate-able songs with uplifting messages for her album, DeAnne also possesses a voice that naturally draws you into each song. The fact that she exudes a positive energy about her is a major plus, and I am elated to have her on my artist roster!"

The singer/songwriter/actress is just as excited to get the ball rolling on her career with the reputable firm, stating, "One of the best decisions I made was to work with Estella Pan of STAR Country Media. I needed someone who shared the same level of passion with me, and I believe I found it in Estella. She is a ball of energy and doesn’t miss a beat. To have someone in your corner who truly believes in you and what you are doing is a blessing. I am eternally grateful for having her on my team."

STAR Country Media's primary focus at hand is Never Too Late, which features a total of twelve tracks (DeAnne shares writing credits on three songs). The kickoff single is "Cowboy Talkin'," a tongue in cheek upbeat tune set to impact radio in March. DeAnne says about the song: "When I first heard [this song], I thought…HOW TRUE IS THAT?? I knew it would be a song so many people could relate to, and that is very important to me. I want to write and sing songs that when you hear it, you think, I do that too! or I feel that way too!"

ABOUT DEANNE MOORE:

Knowing the value of hard work and the rewards it brings, this Dallas, Texas native is far from just a pretty face. DeAnne holds a Master's Degree in Counseling and has an extensive acting résumé. Under the name DeAnne Bonneau, her credits includes television (guest appearances on the long-running daytime drama, The Bold and the Beautiful to the steamy primetime Baywatch), motion pictures (Lifetime movie Inspector Mom and the Chuck Norris-produced Birdie & Bogey), theater (Steel Magnolias, Oklahoma), commercials/voiceovers, and print ads. DeAnne also had a co-hosting stint for two years on WizeTrade TV, an informative stock market television show.

During the last year, DeAnne turned her creative energy toward recording Never Too Late. Following the lead from the album's title track (a song she also co-wrote), she has taken reigns on her music career and is going for it with everything she's got! DeAnne literally lives every word of the song's chorus:

It's NEVER TOO LATE to catch the moment, It's NEVER TOO LATE to touch the sky, It's NEVER TOO LATE to start all over, Follow your dream 'til the day you die.

On top of her career aspirations, DeAnne also relishes in motherhood. Though it makes for some very hectic days, she takes it all in stride. "Being a mom of three kids is not easy. Anyone who has been a mother for more than five minutes knows what I mean! At this stage of my life, after the struggles and the good times, I just knew that I wanted to give it all I had." She reasons, "After all, you only live once. It’s never too late! I think that everyone needs to do what [he or she] feels in their heart is what they truly want to do. It doesn't matter how old you are, how pretty you are, how ugly your past is, as the song says: 'Yesterday was but there's still tomorrow.' AMEN!"
